I'm 67, ran for a couple of years about 5 years ago, (getting back into this with my grandson and daughter in law) signed up for a 5K in 4 more weeks. I'm up to 2.5 Miles in my 5K goal time.......... Need a couple of suggestions. Should I work on my speed to get to 5K in my goal time or should I continue to run intervals and increase my time and distance. I was able to get to this point with two weeks of running which has surprised me, I thought It would be harder to get back into this!
